How We Met
I met this couple this past summer when they scheduled their anniversary session with me. I love that they do this! Every year around their anniversary, Haley and her husband have their family pictures taken. I was so delighted to be the photographer they reached out to this past year for their fourth year anniversary. A few minutes into the session, Hayley let me know that she was actually expecting their first baby! The session quickly turned into a little maternity showcase too. I love that this couple was able to include their new baby girl into their family pictures last year.
The Session
Once baby girl was born, Hayley reached out to me to schedule their lifestyle newborn session in their home. This session was the definitely of perfection. Everything went so smoothly, and their daughter was an absolute angel baby the entire session. Their home was perfect for the session, too. I loved the dark walls in their bedroom and the beautifully decorated walls in baby girl's nursery. How perfect are those flowers?!
The best part was capturing a little peek into how this new family of three is working. First time parents are always so fun to photograph. Anyone who has brought a baby home knows that the first baby completely changes EVERYTHING in a home. Capturing just a little glimpse into that is so special.
One of my favorite parts of being in their home was seeing how they have used their professional pictures throughout the years to decorate their home. Their wedding and anniversary pictures are the focal of their family room with big prints. It was a like a timeline of their love and journey together. I'm so happy we were able to add some more to their timeline with these pictures!
