Lilli & Alice || Class of 2020 || Salt Lake City, Utah Senior Portrait Photographer

Sister of the century over here. My two littlest sisters graduated high school earlier this year. We JUST finally got around to doing their senior pictures. I'm gonna go ahead and blame it on the pandemic.... I'm really happy we finally got around to making it happen because I love this session!

It's absolutely crazy to me that my mom and I no longer have "first days of school" and kids in the same school district together. Just kidding.... it was really weird that we did in the first place!! It is, however, crazy to me that the little baby Lilli that I would take naps with almost every day after high school is all big and graduated. And the little Alice that was barely older than my youngest when she became my sister is graduated, too. These two girls are the best aunts and sisters. They're both my go to babysitters because my kids absolutely love having them around. They're amazing resources in my new world of parenting teenagers. (It's pretty fun having sisters and bonus kids so close in age!)

Fun story about when Lilli was born. I was sitting in my 10th grade history class at Sky View. An office aid came in with a note. My teacher took it, read it, and brought it to my desk. He said "Congratulations!" and I looked at the note. It said something along the lines of "You're a big sister! It's a girl!" I hopped out of my seat, found my older sister in the hallway, and we checked ourselves out of school. We headed straight to the hospital to meet our newest little sister. Lilli and I were buddies that first few years. Like I mentioned, I would come home from school, grab her, go down to my room, lay her on my chest, and take a nap with her. I skipped school A LOT because during the day was the only time I could really hang out with my mom, and Lilli and I would chill during that time. I remember making her chocolate chip pancakes one time.... and then leaving my mom to clean up the chocolate with a little bit of baby hidden underneath. 🍫 Lilli came to my college classes with me when my mom needed a sitter, too. She loved riding the buses on campus. I loved having my buddy with me! Lil's will always have an extremely special place in my heart for being the absolute sunshine in my life during an otherwise pretty hard time.

Alice is my sister from another mister... and mom... but I count her as my own! I was really lucky to get three more sisters when my mom married their dad 13 years ago! Although Alice and Lilli are only months apart, Alice is definitely the baby of our family. (We joke that we really have three baby girls - Emma, who is the baby from my mom and dad - Lilli, who is the baby from my mom and her 2nd marriage - and Alice, who is my step-dad's baby.) Alice is a goal setter and knows exactly what she wants. It's been really fun to watch her this last couple years work her butt off to graduate high school with her Pharmacy Technicians certification and to watch her continue on with college to become a pharmacist while working full time, too. She's killing it in life right now!

I love these girls so much and am so lucky to call them my sisters!
