Emma & Ellie || Tony Grove Portraits

Every family has one.  You know what I'm talking about.... right??? That's right... the cray cray dog lady.  And in my family, it's my sister - Emma. I don't know exactly how it happened, but all of a sudden one day, Em showed up with the most adorable puppy I've ever seen.  And I don't even like dogs (or animals. Side story: my family dog bit my heels when I was a toddler, so we're pretty sure that's why I'm terrified of like ALL animals.  Like, I literally wouldn't stick my finger in a goldfish bowl for fear of getting bit.  My 7 year old often asks why I don't like animals and I have to tell him it's just the way God made me.) ANYWAY, back to Emma. Emma is the epitome of the crazy dog lady.  She has travel dog dishes in her car, pays for doggy day care, has spent thousands of dollars on vet bills (Ellie is a bit high maintenance), and, oh yea.... she did a cake smash for Ellie's first birthday.  If all these things don't spell out really weird adorable, I don't know what does. I do have to admit though - when she comes to visit our house, walking into a room with Ellie on the couch or Ellie laying on the kitchen floor just makes my home look more cozy.  Like a giant dog fur ball rug.  Love you Emma and Ellie!! Glad you're the crazy in the family and not me!! (Who am I kidding.... I have three kids.  I'm definitely more crazy.)
