Bear Lake Extended Family // Bear Lake, Utah Photographer
What a beautiful evening in Bear Lake this shoot turned out to be. The entire drive through Logan Canyon, I was hoping that this shoot would even happen! Photo shoots are stressful to get ready for, but having an ENTIRE extended family getting ready for photos only to be rained out would be horrible! So even though we started with some sprinkles, it turned out to be a beautiful evening complete with a double rainbow for some of the pictures! Side note: I've always wanted to shoot with a rainbow in the background!
For extended family shoots, I generally take a few photos of the large group, a photo with all the grandkids, and then split off for smaller family "mini sessions." I did that for this family, and it was crazy! The weather literally changed for every different family so none of the lighting stayed the same. It's crazy that these were all taken in about an hour and half and how much different weather we worked with. It turned out to be a fun night with a great family, completed with a reenactment of the last grandkid picture they had about 10 years ago.
