Stephanye || Antelope Island Maternity Portraits

Stephanye is one stunning Mama-to-be! I am always down for an Antelope Island shoot, so I was excited when Stephanye wanted to go out there after seeing some of my other Antelope Island shoots on the blog. I was really nervous about the bugs being really bad since it's been warming up, but luckily they were manageable!I love doing maternity sessions because I think as women we forget how amazing our bodies are during pregnancy.  I know when I look at my maternity sessions from each of my pregnancies, I'm amazed that my body did what it did.  Also, with exception of my last pregnancy, I don't remember feeling "huge," but I look at pictures in awe that my belly can stretch so far!I especially loved shooting Stephanye's maternity session because she's a first time mom.  I've said it a million times, and I'll say it a million more, but nothing in this world compares to the moment your first baby is born.  It's indescribable, and probably the closest thing I've felt to Heaven on earth.  I feel that Stephanye's excitement and love for her new baby shows in these pictures - first time mamas just get that! It's a fun thing to be a part of!
