The Question - How to Choose Between a Mini or Standard Session
You're in need a photo session. Great! I can help with that! But now you need to choose which session you need. No worries! I can help with that, too!! Let me walk you through how to choose between a mini or standard session. Unlike many photographers, I have chosen to include mini sessions in my offered services ALWAYS. I'm very passionate about giving you, my clients, exactly what you need. I never want to up-sell you on something that is overkill for what you're looking for.
The Answer
For standard portrait sessions of an individual or family, you have two options. A mini session or a standard session. Here are the pros and cons of both!
Mini Sessions
These sessions are perfect for those of you looking for a quick session. If you're not needing 100+ images, this session is probably for you! Mini sessions work great for capturing milestones. Think baby's first year, a dance costume or soccer uniform you'd like to document, a senior session for those who really don't love being in front of the camera, or a small family who just needs a Christmas card photo. The possibilities really are endless.
Mini sessions are 15 minutes or less. We go to one location and usually don't do any outfit changes. Easy, quick, in-and-out session! The best part is that I'm extremely confident in capturing everything you need in this amount of time. With over 13 years experience under my belt, I work quick and efficiently and always deliver a high quality product! I recommend no more than 5-6 people for a mini session to make sure we do have the time we need to capture what we're looking for.
Standard Session
This is what you think of when you're picturing a normal family photo session. We take about 30 minutes and get a great variety of whoever is in front of my camera! For a family, we'll grab individuals of each family member, siblings shots, couple shots, and family shots. Simply put - you'll have options to choose from!
We typically stay at just one location for standard sessions as well. We can do quick outfit changes if you would like that option as well!
