It's always a great day when I get to meet two brand new baby girls for Fresh 48 sessions at the hospital. These types of sessions are meant to be documentary style sessions.  Any one who has had a baby knows that the time in the hospital is a whirlwind of emotions - Pure joy, love, wonder, awe.... maybe a little bit of exhaustion.... But it's all a once in a lifetime experience.  I love doing Fresh48 sessions, and actual birth sessions, and documenting such a life changing experience in people's lives.  Baby snuggles are the bonus!

I headed to the hospital yesterday to take pictures of baby Eveyln (see the previous post), and was told that one of our neighbors also had their baby!  I was excited when I popped my head in to Terra's room and asked if she wanted a few pictures of Violet while I was there and she said "Yes!"  Little Violet wasn't too happy with me when I took her out of her super warm swaddle.  And then decided she was hungry.  So I only had a few minutes with her, but it was perfect.  She's so beautiful!  C-Section babies have the roundest heads!  And she looks just like her big brother and sister.
