Maura || Cache Valley Senior Portrait Photographer
I LOVE this time of year because the high school seniors start filling up my schedule!! Senior portraits are one of my favorite sessions to shoot for so many reasons. First and foremost, most seniors are REALLY excited to be getting their pictures taken. It makes for a fun session with lots of laughs. Due to social media (I'm talkin' about you, snapchat), most seniors are pretty aware of how they want to "look" for their pictures. They're typically really comfortable in front of the camera which means that pretty much every shot turns into a "money shot." I delete very few pictures from each senior session! The biggest reason I love snapping high school seniors is because it really is a fun time to capture the transition between child --> young adult. There's so much excitement, anticipation, relief, and nervousness that comes during the last part of senior year. I love getting to capture that not just for graduation announcements, but also for looking back on in 10, 20, 40, 50 years!!
Maura was amazing for her session. She was so relaxed and easy to work with. Maura wanted something different from everyone else in her high school, so she came down from Idaho to do her session at Tony Grove. She had the cutest outfits that worked so well up there. Her makeup by Emily Brodock was flawless, too! She has such a sweet and kind personality, and I really enjoyed spending the evening with her and her mom. It was a perfect night!
