Mariah + Jordan || South Dakota Wedding
Mariah and Jordan's wedding day was beautiful and romantic. The bride had gone over every detail, and it all came together beautifully. I was excited to be able to cover their wedding for them in South Dakota the Mariah asked if it was possible. I had shot her friend's wedding last year, and I always love working with referred clients!
The church was in the middle of a small neighborhood in a tiny town. One of the neighbors had a great little green area that we took advantage of for most of the couple's pictures since the church didn't have much landscape. These two braved out the heat and humidity (seriously, I always forget and quickly remember how horrible humidity is in the midwest when I go back for visits). It was pretty intense heat! We got through them and enjoyed family portraits in the air conditioned chapel. Then it was wedding time!
The ceremony was sacred and special for these two. Mariah looked stunning in her cathedral veil walking down the aisle. I especially loved the balcony I had access to and the shots I was able to get from up there during the ceremony.
After, the party bus came and took us out to a lake near by. We battled heat and wind, but got some fun bridal party pictures before heading to the very large reception waiting for these two! They were surrounded (literally) but hundreds of family and friends, and had a great reception. I loved working with these two and their families. Their bridal party was fantastic, too!! Thanks for the opportunity to make it back to the midwest, you two! And congratulations!
