Kristen and Nathan are some of my very best (not) SINGLE (anymore) friends, and I couldn't ask for better ones. Kristen is literally my divorce mentor. She went through her divorce about a year before me, and definitely answered more than a few questions I had along the way. Plus she offered her bed and body when I needed someone to hold me one night. AND diet coke. AND hooked me up with the singles group in Logan. Unfortunately, I couldn't really use her as a wing-woman because she met the kind of awesome and amazing Nathan right when I started the divorce process.

I would say Nathan and Kristen immediately hit it off, but because I stay up WAY too late at "Book Club," (our little women's group night where no books are actually involved), I know that Kristen was pretty apprehensive about being able to be a great mom to her own three kids AND Nathan's six kids. But Nathan being the ever-so-charming man he is convinced her otherwise.

Watching Kristen fall in love and find hope and light in her life again was truly a blessing for me to experience. I have really enjoyed watching this family grow together. As a daughter in a nine kid blended family myself, I know that blending families together is extremely hard. It does not come without challenges. But I also know that these eight kids have been blessed with two of the most amazing parents out there who will love them all as their own. And with an angel mama in Heaven and one on Earth watching over them all, this is going to be a family who achieves a lot of growth together. Love you, Taylor family!!
