{Jake & Amanda} Offut Airforce Base Military Ball Portraits

I'm just going to start off by saying this is one of the most romantic shoots I have ever done.  Maybe it's the uniform, because let's be honest, what girl doesn't swoon at a military uniform?!  Or maybe it's because these two are already married and usually I'm taking pictures of engaged or newlywed couples.  But I just absolutely loved working with Jake & Amanda.  Because Jake is in the Air Force, they are invited to attend the Military Ball every year.  This was their first year attending, and since they are "newer weds," Amanda asked me if I could take some fancy pictures of them all dolled up.  I was so excited when she asked because I've ALWAYS wanted to take pictures of someone in uniform.  (I'm so excited for all my weddings coming up in the next year with military grooms!)  We headed down to Offut Airforce Base where there was a beautiful open area with trees in bloom.  Despite the wind, we had a quick and great shoot.  Not only did I leave happy with their shoot, but I also left with new friends.
