H Family || Blacksmith Fork Canyon Fall
The Hubbard family caught the beginnings of the changing leaves up Blacksmith Fork Canyon this year. The golden light mixed with the fall colors created the perfect backdrop for this amazing family. I've been doing this family's pictures for a decade now - and man have they changed! Janalee and I always laugh about our hilarious first meeting. I remember seeing this beautiful pregnant woman in my young married ward up at USU. She was a toothpick with a basketball attached to her belly - and she looked SO UNCOMFORTABLE. Apparently I mentioned this to her (which I now know better..... I'll chalk that up to being young and dumb). I also asked her flat out if I could take pictures of her baby because I was a new photographer and needed experience. Despite my lack of any sort of social skills, Janalee agreed. And when baby Brynlee arrived, I got to take her newborns!Both my photography and my friendship with Janalee has come a long way since then! We've bonded over having kids around the same age, kids in speech together, running together, and working in the wedding industry. We live in the same town now, and will one day not have our small army of children keeping us from getting together more often!! I'm grateful for her friendship, and grateful that I get to work with her family every year to document all that is changing and ALLLLL the love they have for each other. I love this family!!
