Family // Bear Lake, Utah Family Photographer

I love working with families who I can relate to. While doing a mini session with this family, I found out that this family has suffered the loss of their dad as well. We went on with our session, but then had an amazing conversation after. The mom and dad started a widow/widowers group since they had both lost their previous spouses. We talked about my exeperiences going through losing my dad, as well as how I've used photography to help others going through the experiences. It was a really fun conversation. It's never good to hear that someone else has gone through the same thing as me, but it's comforting to know that we all have others who can empathize with us and strengthen us along our way! On another note, pay particular attention to the grandkids with grandma and grandpa. We can't win them all.....
