Emi Maternity || Cache Valley Maternity Photographer

Last night was so much fun.  Not only is Emi pregnant, too, but we are literally due on the same day! I was so sad when she called to inquire about my shooting her birth story and we realized that it probably wasn't a great idea to have me do it since who knows when either of our babies will really come! We did schedule a maternity session though, and it was perfection! Since Emi is down in Davis County, I suggested my all time favorite, Antelope Island, as the perfect backdrop. Emi totally caught the vision and went shopping for the perfect dress.  And found TWO! (Nothing short of a maternity miracle).  And how amazing is her floral crown she made herself?! I need to attempt one (or six) of those for baby I think.

Imagine two 35 week pregnant mamas walking waddling around doing pictures on rocks, all the way down to the beach, in sand .... I bet we were quite the sight! But I really had a great time talking babies and girl talk with Emi all evening! We got some good chats in waiting for the sun to set perfectly for the water shots, and had a little bit of time to talk when we literally had to stop in the middle of the road and wait for the buffalo to move! It was such a fun night - felt like I was out with a girlfriend! I can't wait to meet her little guy when we do his newborn lifestyle session soon!
