Bible Family || Logan, Utah Family Photographer

I've been a little M.I.A. again lately, and this family is one of those reasons why! I had a great end of summer all over the country spending time with my cousins and aunts and uncles, and it was perfect! On my mom's side of the family, I only have 4 cousins.  Heather (the one in these photos) lives in Ohio, and the other three live in Germany with my only aunt and uncle on that side! My grandpa, the one who ties us all together, still lives in Ohio.  So you can imagine that getting us all together rarely happens.  Last time was six years ago!

My grandpa recently purchased a property on a fun river in Ohio.  He's been working super hard to get it ready for us all to come and enjoy a few days on the river.  We drove out to my home state of Ohio, spent a day with a friend, then headed down to the river to enjoy a relaxing week with the family.  It was so much fun.  And I'm so glad it didn't stop there! After driving home, Heather and her family came and stayed with us for a few days before we all headed to Bear Lake for another few days! It literally was non-stop family time, and was so perfect since it rarely happens! So perfect in fact that Heather and Jeremy left Utah thinking they would like to move here one day!  Dream come true people - I would be so excited to have family out this way!!

The best part of all of it was being able to talk and reminisce about all our shared memories growing up.  I have a lot of memories with Heather at our Great-Grandma's house.  She was the epitome of the perfect grandma, so it was good to feel her love again as we shared our stories of her. Although I've lived away from all of my extended family for almost 16 years now, I'm so grateful for the relationships I continue to have with them.  I love them all, and am so grateful for the time we were able to spend together!
