Abbi + Jake || Utah State Capitol Wedding Formals

Abbi started out this session with a bang when she walked up with a huge knee brace and quite the limp. Jake and Abbi were in a car accident just a few days before the shoot, and they still weren't sure how bad Abbi was injured.  I was so worried we were going to make her knee worse with all the moving and walking we do during a session, and their wedding was only a few days after! Luckily, it all just made for a good story, and Abbi is doing much better now! Limp or no limp, these two look phenomenal together.  They have such great chemistry, and just look picture perfect the entire time I shoot. Couple that with the perfect backdrop and a gorgeous Salt Lake sunset, and we end up with this stunning session!

The Utah State Capitol building will always be one off my all time favorite locations for wedding sessions. It is so beautiful.  I'm a pretty traditional and patriotic person at heart, and I just love how much our state capitol resembles our nation's capitol.  Have I ever mentioned on here that a Washington DC temple wedding is my #1 on my professional bucket list, and shooting around DC while there is my #2.  So this capitol is as close as I'm going to get for a while.  If you have the hook up in DC, hit me up!!
